HDC is a private, non-profit, organization that was established in 1938. HDC is a community mental health center that serves residents in four counties in northeastern Minnesota and one county in northwestern Wisconsin.
On January 1, 2008 HDC merged with its long-time affiliate corporation, HRC Mental Health Center. Together, HDC and HRC are comprised of over 300 staff members who range from psychiatrists to administrative professionals.
Look it in the Eye is an independent documentary about two families who have been confronted by mental illness. Their intimate stories of pain, resilience and recovery are portrayed in this powerful film.
